I just got Recquiem-Avenging Angel, and it says it can't connect due to a network issue. What is the problem here?
The most likely cause of this problem is that DirectPlay isn't activated on your system. To enable this feature, you need to press Win-key+R, input "Control Panel," and press Enter. Click on "Programs," then "Turn Windows Features on or off," and enable DirectPlay.

Alternatively, you can activate this feature using PowerShell. Right-click on the Start button, select "Windows PowerShell (Administrator)," and then copy and paste the following command into the console window before pressing Enter:

dism /online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:DirectPlay /All

Just to add another shortcut:
After Win+R, you could also type "optionalfeatures" to go there directly.

Oh, nice! I didn't know that one. Thanks for sharing!

Oh, and for Control Panel, just the keyword "control" works too.

Btw, thanks for sharing your experience in that other thread. It was really heartwarming to read.
I hope you and that other person is doing well. :)

Apologies for the off-topic.

Noted! :) I usually rely on keyboard shortcuts, desktop shortcuts, macros, and lately, I've been using an application called Key Pirinha It's much faster and saves a lot of mouse clicks. For Linux (Gnome) users, there is an app called Fly-Pie, which I can't personally comment on since I use Slackware, but it might be worth checking out. Just something I thought was worth sharing.

Thank you for your kind words. Yes, we are both fine. After EMR left, we sat down in my kitchen to talk for another hour. I am a firm believer that some things are meant to happen, and this incident occurred at just the right time. It untied some knots that had been tying me down and holding me back for far too long. It is astonishing how many things I have managed to organize these past two days alone that I was always procrastinating on for no good reason, and ultimately, I couldn't be any happier right now.
