Well, paid for versions are iffy. In short, a developer that made the pocket system is asking to get paid. The lead developer gave his blessing. Nobody else really gets money for all the work that went into the game. Besides, the free version is the same as the paid anyway., so gog would lag behind as updates are literally every day.

But because these updates are everyday, they are adding small details. Most of which are broken. Stable versions are mostly not broken.....but still sort of....uh, broken lol

I will send you a pm, if you have that option blocked I will post a link when I get on my gaming pc, that has the zip. Also, the version I have is a couple years old. So if you want the latest mess. Google it and let me know, as I have limited bandwidth.

Some people do not like the modern inventory system. Its a mess. Has been for 3 years. Hence why I use a prepocket version. The game takes a bit of time, but a saving grace is the button remapping. Incase I forget, in the options is a screen setting. Where you set the screen as close to your desktop screen dimensions are. 1600x900 = 1600x896

Zooming in and out is with z/Z (case matters). If you bork the the game, just unpack the zip and delete the mess you made xD
(Save the zipped stuff...)

Shmacky-McNuts: RPG chill it seems like, try Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead. Its free and lengthy. I recommend an older version "pre-pockets", which you can look to the older stable versions like version E, maybe F.

I also happen to have such a modified stable version with mods, if requested of me.

If however you like no thinking games, like a time waste. Try Hotline Miami 1 and 2. Totally bonkers time waste.

Divine Divinty in a very lengthy Diablo 2 rpg chill game too.

Eawyne: Cataclysm looks nice ! It's going to be on Steam - how will it affect this free version ? Might it come to GoG eventually ?

In the meantime, I'd love your stable version to test out.

Hotline Miami was not chill at all ! Fun and bonkers, but not chill XD

Divine Divinity is a game I'm currently playing with my wife, so I can only agree to your suggestion, amazing game.

_Auster_: Just remembered another one I'd recommend, and not of the sandbox type: Lyne

It's a very casual game about joining dots.

It's available DRM free elsewhere, including for Android, but dropping the community wishlist listing here just in case:
https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/lyne

Eawyne: I took note of that, it could still be interesting to get despite it not being on GoG. It doesn't need a new big platform to enjoy, so it's okay ^^

brouer: Race the Sun, with the Sunrise DLC.

Townscaper.
avatar
Eawyne: I didn't know there was a DLC, I picked it up right away.

Townscaper looks adorable, but maybe a bit too sandboxy to be worth it. Dorfromantik has a puzzle aspect to guide through the gameplay, which is nice.

BReal-10EC: Check out Cloudpunk. I think it's on sale right now. It's mainly just flying your The Fifth Element style cab/car around a vibrant voxel art style 3d world, with a bit of walking around on foot. While there are some time dependent events, most of the gameplay is very chill.
avatar
Eawyne: Which version of Cloudpunk should I go for ? It looks nifty, yeah, and I could sure take advantage of the sale.

hooldenord: Some games that make me chill ;)

Ignition
Fun and sometimes funny MS-DOS racing game with nice 3D graphics.

FlatOut 2
Racing game with very nice 3D graphics, car destruction system and amazing soundtrack (rock music).

The Settlers 2
My favourite Settlers game, I simply enjoy placing roads, flags and buildings...

Torchlight 2
RPG in which player doesn't need to check walkthroughs to enjoy it. No annoying puzzles etc.

Worms Armageddon
My favourite Worms game. Funny game for whole family to play on one computer (hot-seat mode).
avatar
Eawyne: Ignition has been added to my wishlist, it could be fun indeed.

Torchlight 2 I have, and it's a good game I've played several times already. But when I need an ARPG fix, I go to Grim Dawn ! Worms I have as well, but I rarely play it : solo isn't that amusing, but I could enlist my wife more often I guess.
You do not have private chat on. So here is the game:

I goofed the explanation about the grenade launcher attachment. Once attached a rifle. You must aim the normal bullet of the gun. Then switch modes to fire the grenny. Its wonky, but works in game. Oh and never use anything that goes boom to close. Use at a distance or behind a building! I learned the hard way lol

edit:

Almost forgot, gog staff, this is a free game in a repack that adds free mods. Nothing pirate about it. It is given out on their site as well. Game is Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead. The older versions are difficult to get with the mods that work with them for the time in which they were given out. Upon request, this older version is provided. Have fun!

Factorio is pretty chill. Well, except for the bugs. And I don't mean software bugs, I mean the alien kind.
You can turn those off though and just build to your leisure.

Terraria is also kind of chill, and I found Borderlands to be much more laid back than the later games, which went for the more overblown bombastic route.
I was watching the gameplay of the Ostriv and I think it can be considered as a "chilling" game.
