So, I had put together a fairly decent gaming PC in early 2014. A couple of months later, it was completely destroyed by a natural disaster. Out of a sense of nostalgia and desire for a new gaming PC despite a limited budget, I am currently trying to recreate this machine. I couldn't find the exact machine I had or the parts for it, so I am getting similar stuff while also thinking of the future.

I am looking for any advice on this build and would also like to hear any similar stories of people creating "junkyard dog" PCs like I am.

I am using all old and salvaged parts in order to save money and still have a respectable machine. I should mention that I have been heavily inspired by a few channels on YouTube such as: RandomGaminginHD. Let's get to the specs:

Case: Dell Optiplex 7010

PSU: EVGA 500watt 80+ white

Processor: i5-3470 @ 3.2Ghz

RAM: 8Gb ddr3

HDD: WD 1Tb 5400rpm

GPU: GTX 750 Ti 2Gb gddr5

Okay, let's hear some thoughts and comments. I'm ready to experience gaming like it's 2014 again.

I have patience like you wouldn't believe. No SSD for me.
