Haven't got round to digging into them yet, backlog and all that. If you need a separate grid based mapper there is grid cartographer:

Ha! I kind of miss those days, Bards Tale maps in the back of my maths class graph book (C64 RPG gamer in my mid 30's :))

Cheers for the grid cartographer tip, will come in useful for when I'm emulating older RPGs too
