karnak1: Because GOG is just clearly packed to the brim with big budget

ShadowWulfe: Ultima is super niche apparently. All of us people interested in old style games aren't part of the "core audience".

Must be all the people that come to GOG to buy all of the newest Fast and the Furious movies and Battlefield DLC.
Don't forget the Assassin's Creed series. They've yet to put the last AC Unity DLC here, though.

high rated
GOG is only interested in Quality titles like Hatoful boyfriend or Slender: The Arrival.
Only thing to do for now is vote on the wishlist. Unlikely it will do jack shit given the trend of GOG's business sense but it may get someone's attention.

Looking at the screenshots they look a little too... tiled... too many corners... Looks quite a bit like Spiderweb software.

I can see why they say it doesn't have quite enough polish, as for being an Ultima game i'd wonder... A lot of the earlier Ultima games has huge strange logical quests that made no sense, and there was no way you would have figured out to get the ring you needed from a beggar.

The only Ultima game i've played at length that i remember, was QuestRon... hmm...

i don't think i'm helping much here...
An update from DrDungeon over at RPGCodex

We're working on a new museum section! It will feature all the old DOS games - for free!
Also zeroing in on the official DEMO! This could be very soon indeed.
And its...huff...huff...pant...DRM FREE!!!!!!

Imagine! A game with no bugs upon release, no DRM, and does not crash!
I, Dr. Dungeon, do thus sayeth this!

Man, if they don't like that, I'm moving to Hollywood and gonna be a movie producer instead!

and heres a link to the updated website

Hopefully Madman makes it past Steam Greenlight. That may get more attention from GOG's "curation team".

He is hoping to be able to sell it via his own website and as its DRM free at least it will be an option now GOG turned their nose up at it
On a brighter note, The Quest is coming to GOG. I think making a few good cases on it on the GOG forums does help.

That being said, I'll probably get it off the good doctor's website first since it won't be coming to GOG in the foreseeable future. I can always double dip later on when it's on sale.

Great news, it will be high on my list to buy. Strange GOG not wanting it, maybe their only into anime porn games now.
