Why not? It's not like GOG has stopped releasing (good) old games, so the "Good Old Games family" still holds true, and indie/new(er) games can, and do, co-exist just fine with it.
Anybody who thinks that 'GOG' is not synonymous with 'Good Old Games' is fooling themselves.
Soon it'll be Grumpy Old Gamers.

That's more like reasons not to use GOG Downloader instead of a suggestion to use it.

I opened a ticket for generic download problem, did not mention GOG Downloader, and the support system Suggested the article for me.
Did anyone notice that the trailer for Deus ex: Revision mod says
"Now Available On Good Old Games and Steam"

Looks like it's still good old games. :)

All the marketing and rebranding and people still call it Good Old Games :).
You can still go to goodoldgames.com and it'll redirect to GOG.com.

And I still use GOG Downloader. It's easy to just set and forget, it has a "download all goodies" feature that last I remember Galaxy didn't have, plus leaving Downloader logged in (on my home fileserver that doubles as a guest PC) is less of a threat to my account than leaving Galaxy logged in.

I have been here since early in 2009, and the GOGforums have always been that way......

That part of the video was made by the devs not the GOG staff. Hence why it also mentions Steam :-)
My mind has been expertly blown. Bravo.
