I don't recall where I saw it; I linked to it from an ad on, I think, imgur.com.

It was about some guy who traveled through time to solve a multipart mystery, if memory serves. Low-key kind of stuff - he wasn't saving the universe or fighting a race of aliens anything, it seemed a more personal-level game. It was like he was walking through people's apartments and such. I think they said there were X number of chapters (seven? 13?) to it.

Anyway, it was going for (on sale, I'm pretty sure) $1.99 and now I can't recall the title. I wanted to wishlist it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
What did it look like?
Were the graphics FMV,prerendered, pixels or polygons?

No, but that does look interesting. Got a thing for time-travel.

No, that doesn't look to be it either. But hey, at least I'm getting good references for other time-travel games I might like.

Trooper1270: Back to the Future... ?.
Heh-heh. Pretty sure I'd remember that.

I'm not real good with the terms but I looked up a couple of examples on-line and I'd say if memory was any help it was probably more like pixel graphics than prerendered. It wasn't fancy but it was clear. It had a side-view like a scroller but the vibe I got was one of the old point-and-clicks like Monkey Island. The one image I recall was a character standing in a bedroom or living room. As I said, not a terrible pretentious game from what I saw of it.

Was this game newish or oldish?

Warloch_Ahead: Was this game newish or oldish?
I didn't check the publication date but I got the feeling it was fairly new. I don't think it was a remastered version of an old classic if that's what you mean.
The Silent Age.
My incorrect guess would have been No Time To Explain. Servobeupstry's guess seems right.

We have a winner. That is precisely the one, Servo, thanks. And it looks like you are trying to save the world...the people in it, anyway.

My thanks to everyone who pitched in. As I said, even those incorrect "guesses" were leads to some other interesting content for me. You all rock.

Since you like time travel, check out Achron. It has its problems with pathing and such and it looks a little primitive but it's pretty good. The learning curve is also a little steep because of the time manipulation. It runs alternate timelines in the background. Wish it were here at GOG but I don't think that'll ever happen.

From the store page:
Help Joe as he travels between the groovy present of 1972 and the apocalyptic future of 2012 to discover the truth behind mankind's extinction;
"A Mind Forever Voyaging"

Probably not, but the only game where the guy walks around casually and it isn't exactly a rush through pace.
