Zimerius: And the same goes for medieval gaming experiences that could have been more clouded with the child's happy faced, grasshopper green then the intelligent observant being that is with us today, asking his question of sweet meadows and holy ale.

Derezady: Interesting take! Thanks for the responses. Unfortunately, those are not the games i am looking for. They had WAY less graphical side. Game was tiny as in several mb and had little to no requirements as it run on my ancient Win 98.
Well i wish i could clame the take as my own. as in some graduating thesis but alas.... Some idiotic person probably anywhere, somewhere in the 18th century already claimed that price... i believe.

But yea, we've all been in your shoes, haunting some child memory from the past. GoG is a pretty good place to start searching, as is Google in general.

When i arrived here i was so surprised to come across titles such as, Theme Hospital, Fantasy General, M.A.X and many others. Submarine Titans was one the latest surprises. A game which mainly remembered as soon to be released title advertized in the pc gamer, and came with their demo cd( but never actually managed a release in the my part of the west ) One of the most iconic experiences was the launch of a nuke that on my oldie exploded in like 5 frames per second.

I hope you find your title, it did rang some bells. I'm pretty sure i almost tried any strategy title for win 98, or at least ones that past the revue in the pc gamer mag :) plus some odd ones that we shared as school kids. But remembering those is anything but normal
