I'm looking for a game that I don't have a lot on information on. It's similar in play style to the Neverhood. I think it features a young boy. One area you'd have to use a bottle you picked up earlier at a stream or waterfall thing to fill what could be flutes or pipes or something. I'm not sure if it would make a specific sound or not but you'd have to complete this to open your path. If you played the game or saw this puzzle you should recognise it.

It was touted as being one of the first CD-ROM games but I don't know how accurate that is. I know there's older CD-ROM games but this was CD-ROM specifically like the Neverhood when the media first became popular. It was featured on a few programs over here as a selling point.

Is it on this list of the first few games on CD?

Doesn't look like it no. The game was graphical and not filmed. Just your standard 3rd person point and click adventure/puzzle game.It would really take someone who played or saw it to know as I've looked through lists of games from 94/95 and can't find it if it's listed anywhere.

Hm,...I never played it myself, but could it be "Loom"?

That one features a young boy, flutes and sounds/melodies.
Could it be something like Curse of Enchantia ?

Doesn't look to be either. The puzzle has you fill a bottle with water. The water might be coming out of a crevice in the wall or it's a stream or something. Too long ago to remember exactly but if I see the puzzle I'll recognise it. You then have to fill something like 4 or so containers with the water almost like the Neverhood puzzle where he spits it into the flutes. Don't know if it is flutes, pipes or buckets or something else but they are right next to each other.

It is a really unique puzzle that someone will instantly recognise. I haven't been able to find a puzzle that uses a bottle in such a way in any walkthrough I've looked at. Unless the bottle is named something else.
