Hello,

I had bought the game a long time ago, it was a physical copy but asked me to install GOG to run the game, now after years, I am trying to install the game but i cant see the option anywhere, could someone help me with this.

Since it is in the library I should be able to to download it and not need a physical disc to do so.

Regards,
Jostin

EDIT: Physical? Have you bought the game here on GOG?

Have you gone to https://www.gog.com/account and found your game there, clicked on the game, and under 'DOWNLOAD OFFLINE BACKUP GAME INSTALL'?

Yes Physical, the game will only install with GOG. I was using GOG Galaxy 2.0

I uninstalled it and used the link you sent, it installed GOG 1.2.64 version from which I can see the option to install now.

Ok, good. :D

Just a friendly reminder: Please provide game name in the title, or the very least in the text, next time. Or post in the games own sub-forum; https://www.gog.com/forum/the_witcher_3_wild_hunt

Also, you don't need to use GOG Galaxy to install and play Witcher 3.

The screenshot has the name of the game, i thought it was some issue with the client, but thanks,

you can delete the post if its in the wrong section.
Hello everyone,

No idea is anyone is using this, figured I give it a shot. I used to play Lord of the Rings: Battle for Middle-Earth. I found the game through GOG however, I cannot download the game. Instead of Install it says "Link executable"? I click it and it brings me to the attached picture. Any advice would be great.

As Sachys already said: that game is not available on GOG (and apparently also not on Steam or Epic, etc)
Do you own it as a retail (CD/DVD) version?
If so, install it from your CD/DVD.

There's no picture attached to your post (so I looked at the attached pic in the first post).

As a non-Galaxy user, the way I understand "Link executable", is that Galaxy wants you to link the [.exe] file from this non-GOG game (after you have installed it on your PC) to Galaxy, so that Galaxy can then run the game for you as an external game.

If that will work with a 20 year old game?
No clue.
Simply try it.
