I strongly suspect the exact same crowd that hates him would also hate you and downvote anything either of you said.
Probably not my place to say, but GR has mentioned in the past about 'being on the spectrum'. I forget what specifically.

I have a friend IRL who has aspergers. He's a bright guy but he often doesn't get things and I have to reword them and avoid being my sarcastic self.

Now... he could just be BSing, but he very much reminds me of this friend I have and how he often doesn't quite get things... can come off as a bit robotic at times.

Once I figured that out a lot of my hostility towards GR went away.

Not really my business but if certain behaviors of his rub you the wrong way, like they used to for me, perhaps understanding that helps...? I suspect a lot of people get this vibe from him and hate him for it... but I think it's misplaced...

If you check the Wizardry Labyrinth of Lost Souls request thread, the Grimoire Release thread, and a few others you'll note that someone is high rating ALL who disagree with me/a few others, and low rating me and those same few others.....so it's likely not him doing it.

(At first it was just on Gog curation/game request threads and now it seems to be spreading to other threads as well....tbh if I were in control here and knew who it was i'd give em a permaban and IP ban[to prevent new accounts] for good measure for them being such douches...but that's just me)

If I were in control I'd just get rid of the rep system period. Alternatively make it only visible to moderators/replace with a report function to track people breaking the rules. It's been abused trash since I've been here with complaints the whole time and no action.

I have moderate to severe OCDs of varying types & also moderate anxiety from those and other things, and also someone here suggested(based on my words and actions) I might have aspergers of some sort.

Thanks for that......I try my hardest to compromise here every day and be as nice as I can but eh, it doesn't always work out so I try to mainly get along with those I can & patch up bridges with others if possible as well from time to time.



I think making ratings public or trackable would suffice, but that said:

I mainly meant bans should be handed out(if they cannot or won't remove the system) as it IS a rule here(No rep abuse), and they CAN enforce it(A user here showed me some technique GOG COULD use right now to track ratings if they wanted to use such) yet choose not to.

i.e. They have a rule and could enforce it yet don't enforce it and also keep it as a rule.
