POSSIBLE SPOILERS FOLLOW



Me and my friend were actually the only ones in the audience who did, because I knew about it already. Which was good for him, but as I already knew what it would tease, I was a little let down as the scene itself wasn't all that impressive.

I'm honestly not that hyped up for the inevitable vs movie. I gues it will have to involve getting Kong off the island, and that was a big part of what made this movie work. Also, it's a little weird they're teasing it with characters who obviously won't be around for that movie, since it pretty much has to be set in modern day.

I thought Pacific Rim is fun as hell, but hey, seems they have about the same ratings, just which you prefer. Infact Kong is rated .2 higher.

Personally thought the characters had a bit more depth and motivation, it had way more cool monsters and more dynamic fight scenes. Sometimes two or three at a time.

Plus it has Hannibal Chow.

I was thinking of the latest Jurassic Park movie from 2015, not the old classic.

And 'yes' I agree that the concept behind [the original] Jurassic Park is far more interesting, from an intellectual perspective, than that of King Kong. The core idea behind Jurassic Park still feels within the realm of possibilities, which makes it more interesting to talk about. In comparison the chances of finding a gigantic ape in some remote jungle island feels like pure fantasy, where you reach an intellectual dead-end.

However the focus of the 2015 Jurassic Park movie was on the visual wow-factor and the action aspect, rather than raising the kind of ethical questions posed by the very first Jurassic Park movie.

They called it "World" to avoid the confusion.

(I still always accidentally read it as Park, but, hey, just pointing this out)

Oops, ... yeah, I completely missed that.

Actually, I'm not a big fan of this movie, but I like it. My wife likes to watch it.

I want to see this movie! ^_^
