Kingdoms and Castles is a pre-order, so not being able to play it yet is correct.
If you still wish to return it, go here, select on top "Orders and Payments" and in the "Problem Type" field select "preorder cancellation". Fill in the rest of the fields, send your ticket and wait.

He wasn't nearly as bad as the people who showed up a week before Witcher 3 came out complaining that because some places were selling it early (illegally) then GOG should, and how they were screwing their customers by waiting until the release date. :P
