HereForTheBeer: The view out the office in the shop at the new property. 2256 is looking northwest toward the local lake and the village we used to live in. 2257 is north. 2258 is east, looking over the back yard; the house is out of the photo, just to the left.
Really looking forward to the same views once the snow falls.
flanner: so, your pc that you are visiting gog by is obviously in da your work! im sorry but have to call to your boss now :D
nice garden. looks european.. like somewhere near here in the neighborhood
edit: how did you manage to upload so large jpegs? i was avoided to enter bigger than 500kb, so i had to resize it into that small proportions :-\
It helps when you ARE the boss. Er, work for myself. I'm the boss AND the lackey - gotta crack the whip on myself sometimes.
For the photo size, I'm taking a 5MP shot at high compression on a Canon point-and-shoot, which creates photos of anywhere from 400kB up to about 1.2MB. For those too large for the file size limit, I simply resize in Windows Paint. The shots go from 2,816x1880 down to whatever size I end up with in order to squeeze under the limit. High compression is the key - the shots still come out decent without having an enormous file size.
The sunsets can be pretty spectacular, depending on what the weather is doing that evening.
