I would like to be in for dawnpatrol if I may. It's on his wish list!

Last full price game I bought was the retail version of URU Complete Chronicles. Being a huge MYST fan I absolutely had to have it in my collection. Now it is complete!
I'm in
it was System Shock 2, my all time favorite and imo one of the greatest videogames ever made.
thanks for the chance and gl all!

RayRay13000: However, if you're wanting in (also say that you're in) state what game you bought full price recently or years ago (indie, b-tier, AAA, etc.), and though it was completely worth it and a reason why (doesn't have to be very detailed).

And...GO!
Not In as my backlog would mean not being able to get to it for a while.

However as to your question I don't buy many things full price that I am then happy about later, however two things come to mind:

1. Zak McKraken here, just because it was full price but still cheap and definitely something I wanted as I never finished it back in the day.

2. This one I suppose you could say I payed more than full price :) But The Flame and the Flood is one I backed on KS, and so far even with it being Early Access, I have had much fun with it. Which when you get down to brass tacks is all it is ever about.
I would like to be in.
I have not bought many games on release (when they are full priced) as I prefer to buy complete editions and for those you need to wait, but sometimes – when title looks promising and expansion is unlikely, I make exception:
- Arcanum: as a big fan of Fallout series I purchased it on day 1. I was satisfied with the purchase as quality of game matched quality of content: large cardboard box with soundtrack, detailed instruction, map and short story.
- The Witcher. One of the few games I really waited for. Although my computer barely met system requirements, I am happy that I did not wait with the purchase. I know it may sound funny but the game shortly after release become national pride (at some point a copy of it was given by polish officials to President of USA during his visit in Poland). Mainstream media felt somehow obligated to promote this title and it was hard not to come across PC game spoilers by just reading a newspaper or watching a news channel!

Not in Ray, just passed by to say thanks!
I'm in.

I paid full price for Rebel Galaxy and it was well worth it.
After having played Starpoint Gemini 2 (unpolished, "meh" - might try again later) and Elite Dangerous (wow! Sim, but where is the game...?) I finally found a Elite-like space game again which just clicked. The story was motivating, the game flow was just really good... played through in one piece and loved it. I would just like more ;).
I'm in.

I bought Star Trek 25th Anniversary and Judgment Rites at full price because they so wonderfully capture the feel of the original series. The graphics, the music and sounds, the writing, getting the original voice actors, structuring the games as mini "episodes" - for an original series fan like myself, you can't ask for much more.
Another quick bump.
I'm in.

My most recent non-discounted non-gog purchase a few weeks ago was the Need For Speed collection with Underground, Underground 2 and Most Wanted.

I don't think these are terribly well regarded these days (too arcadey, too junevile, and just not aged so well?), but what other options have you got if you want to play illegal street racing? I don't think there's that much choice. Anyway, I have sweet memories of playing (pirated copies of) the first two Underground titles as a teenager, and these games are still plenty of fun and deliver a good sense of speed. At the moment I'm halfway through the first game and really looking forward to firing up Underground 2 again for the first time in over 10 years... I never played Most Wanted, and I'm definitely looking forward to it too even though it lacks some of the things that make the Undergrounds appealing to me.

Wish GOG had more racing games.
Im in :)

Back in 2003 I bought "Unlimited Saga" for the Playstation 2.
I was younger, and therefore stupid, younger me bought into the "Square-Soft" hype and thought: Wow! A new Square RPG!

I paid € 59.99, for a game that is indeed an RPG but not the kind I was hoping for, I was craving for apples (JRPG) and got oranges (old school WRPG like "A Bards Tale"), I was pretty disappointed at the time.

I still have that game, nowdays I no longer regret buying it, it was worth it since it shown me a different kind of game I had little experience with.
I'm in. This is the second time I EVER paid $60 for a domestic console game given I think most of the time that's overpriced. I bought "Rodea: Sky Soldier" for Wii U from Gamestop.

I specifically made sure to buy it as the launch or rather the first print edition includes the Wii copy which is suppose to control better since it was designed for the Wii. Apparently it was so late in the Wii's lifecycle here they decided to port it to the Wii U instead.
Why I bought it is because Yuji Naka, head of Sonic Team, made it. I will basically buy any game that he's behind(I trust that it will be quality), the same goes for Yu Suzuki. I own "Ivy the Kiwi" on the Wii as well.
I'll go ahead and pick the winners tomorrow at around 10:00PM CT, so if you're interested there's plenty of time to enter.

Bump.
Wait what? I'm in for shovel if I just mention what game I bought at full price in here or anywhere else? I should do a lot of digging..

I'm in and I bought in here at full price witcher 3 last time if I recall right (or that hearts of stone too). Other one was Fallout 4 from greenmangaming but nevertheless I need my shovelware!

Edit: why? well, I liked previous witchers and was pretty hyped for the third one. It took couple of months to actually finish witcher 3 but I did it and it was worth it, I took some breaks between the patching process tough.
I was so much more surprised how I paid that pre-order for hearts of stone because it was even more worth it because it made me like the game more.
Do I wish more Ciri? Yes I do but sometimes you don't get what do you deserve (heh, anyone remember that trailer there was that king who said that, just the opposite and meant ciri.. =D)

Where was I?
Full price thing? Next game what I buy at full price is final fantasy lightning returns if it is cheap enough and it prob is.
