It would help a lot with the arcade game experience, also giving a new vibe to other games.
I am aware of surveillance camera keyboards but couldn't find one, including the standard querty plane or enough buttons.
There were special little plastic joysticks in the '00s stuck on keyboard arrows that gave this arcade feel.
Thus, is there a product today? PC keyboard with joystick or keyboard joystick solution?
Not traditionally, no.
You might have better luck looking for studio keyboards and editing keyboards; those might have jogwheels, knobs, and wheels, but I'm not sure they'd map to anything.
If you wanted an arcade feel wouldn't you just get an X-Arcade stick?
just buy a normal usb joystick, if you have no ports left then buy an usb hub
There are keypads with joysticks. These are mostly used for MMO games with big skill bars, but they exist.
Scrolling a few sites, you can build one from the parts provided. It will look like it would eat your pets while you sleep. But it is an option.

Good idea. And it's fun! I have installed and mapped two mini arcade sticks. Working in all games. Suitable for 1/4 titles.

Then... why there is no PC keyboard with a simple joystick.... so many arcade buttons and no joystick : )

Let's get big right? : ) This is an option, and it takes a space on a desk only. I would certainly try the classic joystick. This is one of the best controllers for any flight simulator, turning, jumping, and some shooting and all old arcade atari games went that way. Got one retro https://www.gog.com/upload/forum/2024/09/05ba027305de49481744763ccf156a6da43e7602.jpg and one standard x joypad..... still.... missing a keyboard with tens of arcade buttons with a simple joystick I within

Keypad with joystick https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/305947695507 or https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/176584376333 so close to what I need. Thank you! Imagine a standard keyboard with a joystick in place of arrows or next to it. Arcade whole keyboard : )

I could....try....your faith in my abilities is greater than my own...I could .... glue a midi joystick to the side of the mini keyboard, used duct tape before when tried to create GOG's tablet https://www.gog.com/upload/forum/2024/06/b8f10dad483470872ac25123df46561d76aa4cfa.png
maybe I will go further and glue something on the keyboard.....
these little plastic joysticks for keyboard arrows 20 years ago were fun, then disappeared from the market

different than this https://plusgear.ch/produkt/kbm-stick-joystick-for-your-keyboard/
more (99% similarity) to this https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/nvO_Wr5_uTQ?rel=0

Thank You, Everyone, for your inspiring answers! ^

Your recent "arcade setup" not good enough anymore?
avatar
solseb: There were special little plastic joysticks in the '00s stuck on keyboard arrows that gave this arcade feel.
Yeah - and those sucked.
I know, because my brother had one.
There's a reason, why those aren't widely sold anymore.

I'm pretty sure, you can get anything on Etsy, Ebay, etc.
Of course - if you have a 3D printer, you can simply make one of your own.

The arcade setup is good, thank you! It's just that the number of buttons on the tested keyboard is ....98! The one from the pic has 78.... and each button can do amazing things in the game, including writing. The keyboard is the ultimate arcade stick! It's just missing the stick xD for worse.... there are nonjoysticks(neu) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/316000917048 and it's getting popular : ) it needs a stick to stick out,
and
I've found it! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256635421946 with your help. It is delicate... yet, can be glued to the keyboard ; )
coursly, it would way much look better presenting like this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/315348597855

after all you(s) said here.... I will focus on looking for the arcade stick with the maximum number of buttons, search mode

Like a Logitech G13? Unfortunately Logitech stopped making those years ago, some patent dispute with Razer or something like that.
Are you handy with hardware and being able to solder? You can build preciselly what you want.

There are a ton of resources on build your own keyboard, including some websites that pretty much help design and output the correct files for laser cut, PCB and the microcontroller programming.

Very basic diy keyboard with a arcade stick idea:
Design a simple keyboard layout to your liking (resource needed) and grab a couple of inexpensive microcontrollers like the Raspi pico. Add the Switches and caps as needed, the arcade buttons can be keyboard switches as well ( idea ).
The hard part will be designing the PCB or handwire all the switches, the soldering process is a bit tedious.
Program the mcontroller and hope for the best.
The most expensive bit of the project will be manufacturing the PCB (usually minimum of 5 + shipping) and the arcade joystick.

Go crazy and add a a few features, like USB hub, volume knob and tons of RGB ̶v̶o̶m̶i̶t̶ magnificent lights.

And last, the casing. Metal could work (aluminium) but the easiest way is either 3d print or possibly layered plexiglass/ acrily sheet or wood.

Here is a mix of the two
Layered plexiglass
handwired madness
small but classy
simple kit
extreme diy
Wood

Pretty sure is possible to fit a stick and a few more keys here

Works I guess

To my knowledge you can get a Lenovo Thinkpad Keyboard to work as a desktop keyboard.
It got this little Clitoris in the center of the keyboard. Would that be enough?
