It's possible to rate a game (giving it stars) without writing a review. Also check if there are any filters applied to the reviews (show only verified owners, etc.)

There would probably be more reviews if they allowed to edit them. I know I would write a few.

Topoli: The mean value can not be 3,5 if there is only one review, that gives the game 2 stars.

Also at the top of the sites it says "Awaiting more ratings", but there _are_ rates.

What is going on there?
It's simple: you can rate games without reviewing them.
And "more ratings" > "some ratings"

at least publishers dont buy reviews here

Topoli: Hm... that was my first thought before posting this thread here, but how do you do that?
If I give some stars, I am forced to write a title and a text after that...
The moment you click the stars, the rating gets saved. Written review is optional. You can check by giving 4 stars to some game, leaving the page, going back to the game and it will already have the 4 stars you gave it.

You're probably already aware of it by now, but you can ask Support (and maybe even a "bluetext"/staff on the forum) to edit your review for you. Of course right now they're very busy so getting the edit through could take a long time.

Topoli: ... weird how this is handled, but ok that's not the only technically issue on gog imho.
That pretty much sums up most of the site, yes.
