So this might be awkward but in all my time that I have GOG. I only have like one friend.
I would really like to make friends within the GOG community ^.^

I only play classic titles and not a whole lot of multiplayer games.

Welcome aboard. It's always good to see a new face.

I don't really play multiplayer games either. I did an MMO for a few months but had to go cold turkey because it was eating up too much of my life.

I think that zeogold meant that the forum is rather unfriendly.

Well, there are some feuds and personal vendettas around these forums, but I wouldn't call them "unfriendly".

Although I'm curious about the purpose of searching for friends here, considering that OP mentions to play mostly SP titles and barely any MP. Would it be just to strike random conversations from time to time?

Yeah, it's not that people don't start random topics whenever they feel like it, for anyone to join in.

Actually, I would say that's the best way to get friends - no asking for friends, but being friendly and relatively active.

Loneliness is pandemic in this millennium, and it magnifies the depression (FoMO, envy of another's (typically fake) instagram life, etc.).
