First, I would make sure that nobody in my close family has to worry about money ever again.
Second, I would calculate how much money I can realistically make during all my work life with jobs similar to my current one, and set a slightly bigger amount aside, so if I decide to work, it's because I find it fulfilling, not for need. Perhaps make periodic transfers to another account to make the illusion of a salary.
Then, set a huge "cushion fund" so I still have reserves in case of an unexpected emergency. Plus enough for retirement age, because there is no way the government will be able to guarantee a decent pension. Invest part of it in very conservative funds to try to at least beat inflation.
Let's assume there's enough money left to start a company! How about a video game developer in my home town, giving jobs to local talent? I would keep a creative role but delegate management in people who actually know what they are doing. And anyway, in this scenario I am so rich the goal of this company is not exactly making money.
If I really really want to burn money, I would start a publishing firm for local scifi/fantasy authors. Perhaps even more genres.
And because I am so filthy rich, let's take frivolity up to eleven and buy the rights to a classic TV show franchise and revive it with a new season.
Yep, I have given this topic a ridiculous amount of thought.
