The only real critique I have about the new Humble Windows app is the fact that I cannot get the trove games and the subscriber exclusives as standalone installers anymore... I have to use the app now. But how to I preserve the exclusives for future use then?

The vast majority of Humble installers were (and should still be) just zipped installations. You can just install the Vault games, zip them and take them with you wherever you want. The Collective games, on the other hand (Dodgeball Academia, Forager, Unsighted, Void Bastards, Wizard of Legend) seem to require the app in order to launch, so you won't have any luck there.

Since they dropped the subscription plans, the price is the same for everyone. And also, the discount for the store resets even if you pause.
The only benefit of pausing that I can think of is the $4 off coupon they offer for you to not pause.

Their stupid plan to only offer discounts for new users is clearly backfiring , why would anybody keep subbing ...

I just remember that those discounts for new users sometimes could be applied to users who had cancelled or paused.

i'm pleased with this month. was going to get Mass Effect Legendary, so this is a cheapish way to get it and with some bonus games. Nebuchadnezzar was also a game i was going to check out at some point.

Picked it up primarily for ME Legendary, though I have the first two base games in my backlog still... And who knows, I might play one of the RTS Tactics games someday, though that's not a genre I'm into. Nebu, Nick Brawl and Evan's (this one's a dupe for me) go on trade pile.
