I feel like GOG says soon the way an irresponsible parent does.

'Daddy, when will you fix my bike?'
'Soon, just let me do something else real quick'

Two weeks later and the child's still waiting.

Daddy GOG, I was over the moon when Dawn of War was announced as coming here SOON.
Please Daddy, do I need to summon the Candy Man, sleep in a storm drain, then eat a bird's nest for soon to be now?

Well, I'm off to work. It's a 'special' day here in Australia so how could I say no to over $60/hr. I expect comments when I return.

But little did the son know that GOG was under the influence of an unholy mixture of Blizzard + Valve Time and it would actually take 4 whole years for the game to be released.

Public holidays are 2.5xhourly rate(at least in my agreement). I work in a place that operates essential services, so I get to work. Wow, maybe I should forget the whole announcement. I wish there was an unholy mix to cause a particular memory to vanish.
