It's not. If using GOG Galaxy, you'd have to press Ctrl+Shift+Tab in a game that has overlay support, and it's just a single counter.

Check your Nvidia settings. I found a short video guide from 7 months ago, but I can't say if it's still accurate. If it doesn't help, then check related applications like MSI Afterburner or RivaTuner.

Yes, it doen't looks like the GOG counter which is just the number of fps and nothing more, check in the task manager if you have anything running in the background, it looks like msi afterburner counter like Ice_Mage said
If you're seeing an FPS counter only while playing games on GOG, it's likely that the counter is being generated by the game itself rather than by GOG.

The method to disable the FPS counter may vary depending on the game you're playing. However, here are some general steps you can follow to disable the FPS counter:

1. Look for a settings menu within the game.
2. Navigate to the "Video" or "Graphics" options.
3. Look for an option related to displaying the FPS counter. It may be labeled as "Show FPS" or "Display FPS".
4. Disable the option to hide the FPS counter.

If you can't find the option within the game's settings, you can try searching online for a solution specific to the game you're playing.

If you're still unable to disable the FPS counter, you can try reaching out to the game's support team or the GOG support team for further assistance.

I swear i've seen that counter before somewhere. I believe it's a hijacking DLL for debugging purposes (that is to say, it's not malwre, but a tool you likely got with someone else that overrides a DLL to provide that level of information). I actually got it to try to figure out why certain unity games were giving me input lag. Unfortunately, i don't remember the name of the program.

If I remember correctly this specific counter is a special setting in Evil Within 2 which you can simply deactivate by disabling it in the settings. I am surprised though that you have this counter in every GOG game you play. I will reinstall the game and check myself - but I am pretty sure.

Edit: Yes, I was correct:, it was a counter from Evil Within 2. Inside the game go to
Options -> Graphics -> Performance Metrics

Set to "disabled", leave the menu and your problem should be solved.
