I want a refund.

I was sold a game that is now abandoned and is no longer being updated nor allowing me access to the newest DLC's. This company just straight up abandoned GOG users and when requesting a refund from GOG I'm told "oh it's ok they'll give you a steam key lol". NO, **** STEAM. Also, on a forum post ON steam, there are people complaining that they haven't even received keys! This is so fucking anti consumer and NO ONE CARES and NOTHING is getting done about it!? Sweep it all under the rug and STFU ritght!?

Oh I understand the arguments. "Well you received what you purchased. They stopped selling you anything new but you did and can still play what you purchased." This game was actively in development, changing and adding new things on a constant basis. This game was essentially early access, just without the title. The fact that I can buy into the game, and then the company can POOF and I'm stuck with an old version or an unupdated version of the game MISSING CONTENT is unacceptable to me. Sure, they can do what they want, it's their product. Don't sell on GOG anymore. I WANT MY ******* MONEY BACK THEN. If you're abandoning me and treat me and all the others who liked your game and spent money on it like this ****, I want a way to recoup the loss I've encurred! What's to stop any of these ******* companies from getting us hooked into a good game, and then attempting to pull the rug and sell it to us AGAIN on a different platform!?

Yes, I know a lot of games didn't get certain updates on GOG etc etc. How the **** can we as consumers get our money back when a company pulls bull**** like this? This whole situation NEEDS ATTENTION and NEEDS TO BE DISCUSSED or these **************** are never going to have to answer for this!

For certain I have put everyone involved in making this game on my ****list. I will never buy from them again. Honestly the only power we consumers always have. If you were affected buy this, don't buy The Tennant on GOG. Don't buy anything from anyone associated with House Flipper until these fuckers ANSWER for this shit.

This topic has been discussed ad nauseam on this forum. Devs abandoning GOG versions and letting them rot is a thing here. It's not acceptable, but the owners of House Flipper at least did actually do something marginally fair by pulling the game from this store and offering a copy elsewhere. Not many do this, hell: not many even bother to pull it. A lot of devs just leave an outdated & inferior version here to still be sold whilst updated versions get uploaded on Steam and there's not a thing GOG can do about it because seemingly their legal department didn't write clauses to address/prevent the abandonment contingency.

It sucks, mate, but posting a tantrum does nothing (and it's not good for your health). I'm serious, it does jack because the ones responsible for making the top decisions, the suits, the white-collar corporate boardroom dwellers, don't take feedback from the community seriously. And that leaves the day-to-day GOG staff to take the abuse from angry customers for a problem not of their doing.

Err... Who from? GoG? Well, that's not fair - it's not their fault. The publishers of House Flipper? Well, they didn't sell you the game and they did offer you a key for a different store.

But, as Braggadar has made it clear, this issue (and type of issue) has been discussed in the past. You can always take the Steam key, use their bandwidth to download the games and updates, and as long as you don't buy any further add-ons from Steam, it's a net cost to that platform.
Also, why would a dolphin need a house in the first place?

They need a SEA! Or an ocean! Not a house!
