Seja como for, pela magnitude da obra, um investigador brasileiro dá assim um grande contributo para o enriquecimento da História dos Videojogos. +1 para o Brasil, também.

Tanto mais de louvar pelo facto do projecto não ter quaisquer fins lucrativos. Raríssimo, nestes tempos decadentes, em que quase tudo e todos parecem ter um preço.

dtgreene: How come (according to the table of contents) there's no mention of Dragon Quest (the first game that could be called a JRPG)?
Quite simple: Because you didn't volunteer to write an article about it, and apparantly noone else was interested in doing it either. The whole project is dependent on fans willing to dedicate time on writing about their favorite games. I'm sure if you'd contact Felipe about it, he would be happy to include your article on Dragon Quest.

There is a short article for Dragon Quest on page 392 btw, as part of the chapter "The Birth of Japanese RPGs". So I don't think the book intentionally excludes console RPGs.
