It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

ponczo_: Just to clarify (and I'm sorry for not mentioning it fully when closing other threads):
We closed 3 duplicate threads to make it easier both for us to gather and read your feedback, and for you to follow our eventual responses on this topic :)

PS. Duplicates might be considered spam. And spam is against our CoC >:c

Breja: Here's an idea - if you're really commited to replacing support with a crappy chat bot (I'm not even going to comment on that), and you want to avoid a flood of threads about this from understandably unpleasantly surprised people, you could at least make some kind of semi-friendly official announcement to that effect, instead of designating a random user-made thread the "correct one" to post in and calling the other threads spam and violation of your rules. Jesus Christ.
how do i make my own response to this thread? it only lets me reply to whats allready beed posted. i also agree that they need to bring back humans, a.i. is no where up to the task.its full of bugs and the worst part is, there are no people to tell so they can fix it.
Honestly, I think that in terms of being able to interact with a person, the state of GOG support is fine (sure, they'll weed out some of the obvious cases with a bot... whatever, if you have a real issue and persist a little, you'll talk to a human).

I think at this point, the main issue with GOG support are not the first responders, but their lack of manpower/infrastructure to smoothly resolve some of the issues we are experiencing with the drm-free installers once the issues bubble up beyond the first responders.

I had two separate issues in the recent past, both involving the drm-free installers and neither of which have been resolved to my satisfaction:
- The Police stories installer got demoted to an earlier version in the browser
- The Trudograd "War Supply Pack" on Linux is a dead link in the browser

For the first issue, apparently, you can still get the latest installer via Galaxy only and with the later, they are looking into it still (I'm kind of skeptical at this point that they have the capacity to smoothly resolve it otherwise they would have done so already).

At this point, I think GOG (as a company, not the employees) still seems to be a lot more interested in offering first rate support for Galaxy installers as opposed to their drm-free ones.

I don't think removing the chat bot will fix that. The issue runs much deeper than that I feel.

+1 for the entire post.

Removing the chat bot will, in my opinion, fix a crucial issue with GOG's support though: the chat bot.
