I know it's late in the day, but I just thought I would wish everyone a happy 17th of July.
Not just late in the day, you're 12 minutes too late altogether by my clock. :P
So you're a 17ther then, dtgreene?

I didn't realise you were one of those people.
It is 18th already in my time zone, but it will not stop me from wishing you happy 17th of July.
Happy Birthday, J.M. Straczynski! Thank you for Babylon 5!
Why is everyone celebrating the day my Tortilla wraps are going to expire? :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVID HASSELHOFF!

Born on this day in 1952! :D

Is it a holiday in the US or why are you writing that?
I know a lot of right-wingers in Spain are celebrating it (anniversary of the 1936 military rising), but I suppose you've got some other reason.

Well, it *is* the 17th of July. This is the *only* day during the year when we can say the date is July 17th; that's what's being celebrated.

(In truth, this is just an arbitrary day, and this isn't exactly the most serious topic.)

Guess time is relative. Right, Einstein?

(In all seriousness, this isn't *quite* how relativity works.)

I'd like to thank him for Sense8 as well. One of these ages I need to watch Babylon 5.

This is making me want to butt in with a correction, but I have no idea what your level of physics knowledge is.
Reading the July 17 entry on wikipedia is a very interesting experience. Something about Tsar Nicholas Ii family, anexation of East Timor by my country's former dictator (with silent approval by Uncle Sam) mixed with Wong Kar Wai (the director of one of my faves movie In the Mood for Love) birthday
