I walk through the gateway, the large square arena is before me and I know within seconds it will begin to be populated. In the center are old pillars, crumbling walls and rubble and on the fringes are small buildings maybe housing what I need to get through this, maybe just empty. In the center is everything I need but I should not be hasty as I will be most exposed there. Behind me is the complex I have just passed through and all around is desert, seemingly endless and deadly to venture into.

You spend your days walking around the forest looking for something (someone?) and when the night comes you are the one hiding, running and doing your best not to be found. The worst part? You are defenceless and you can't actually harm those who come for you at night.

Green_Hilltop: Is it a game with werewolves? I'm thinking of one that got released on Steam recently and you had this lantern in your hand on some screenshots.

Sanjuro: Nope, no werewolves. But you do carry a source of light in your hand.
