I am playing on my PS5 and platinum Ing GTA III, VC and SA and while driving around in SA I noticed the billboards are all blank. Like just an empty frame of a billboard. I remember on the PS2 it wasn't like that. I don't think any of the billboards showed any copyright material, like Pro laps is an in game sports clothing store. Still upset they removed some music tracks that were iconic for SA. The way I see it, if Rockstar or any game dev, movie or show paid for the license for the music or video clip to be in said game/video, Then it is baked into it. They paid for it and is done. Now if a new game/movie is made then yes you would need to pay again. But a lot of movies, shows and games are getting striped like Vice City. I know people that had episodes from online shows that were removed from the list for music in them "That License expired" and they just removed said episode and couldn't watch it at all. So parts of the show was broken.
You know that actually whole games get removed due to license expirations?

Not only this, but I can imagine that Rockstar in a fit of being absolutely skinflint, pulled the plug on the servers that were serving ads because GTA San Andreas doesn't have shark cards.
