matterbandit: I'm happy to see Sacrifice on sale! :D Feels like forever since I've seen it discounted here. A one-of-a-kind gem with unique gameplay and an amusing lore! Got nothing but fond memories playing this game: the trippy visuals, the great voice acting and the atmospheric music. :)
Oh, I've tried the game twice and stuck at the very beginning. I've messed up something with heavily scripted gameplay (reaching some point using different way have not triggered some events etc.). But I'll try again someday! ;)
Thank you GOG for this sale, there are some really great game deals here.

IronArcturus: I've played the console version of Tunnel B1 and it was an interesting game. But for some reason the camera was at a weird low angle. I'm wondering if that was fixed in the latest PC version.

Yeah, Hydro Thunder was a great game and I hope GOG will get it too!
Hi!
Well, I never played it on consoles to be honest. I've been told that the title came out for Sony's PSX and Sega's Saturn consoles respectively. On PC there was never officially a patch bug fix that I've noticed. As for the camera angle I don't remember if it could be changed on PC. I don't think so.

Yes Hydro Thunder is or was a great video game for its time. In my case I never got to play its sequel (Hydro Thunder Hurricane) on Xbox. I would also like to see it in the GOG catalogue. Since I've seen one or two Xbox ports on PC here on GOG. =)

op2022: I've got it on CD, from back then in the 2000s.

I also made a video about two weeks ago showing some gameplay :

Hi!
Great! It looks better than I remembered. Thanks for the video of the game. =)

I remember this happening to me too!! LOL!! It's been many years since I last played, but I recall having experienced exactly what you just described, where I thought to myself, "Did I just walk in a direction with no invisible event trigger points?" o_O
I guess that leaves Monday for maybe another batch of re-releases?

Maybe the Worms games count.

Swedrami: ...
I guess it's over. Some games from Worms series released today.
Monday ends the sale and brings a new one, so I don't expect any other event in "Good Old Games Week".
Nice move Gog . =((( Many games were removed from the sale before the end date .
I had the idea that the Star Wars and Good Old Games were two different overlapped sales. Maybe the Star Wars one finished before.

I was talking about other games .

Check out this post https://www.gog.com/forum/general/gog_weekly_weekend_sales/post1207 and post 1208, 1209

then compared it with the current list on the promo page .

BloodMist: Yeah see now THIS is what I actually signed up for in the first place. This is really all I buy on GoG. You should be featuring the old games a lot more often even from a business perspective, as many of them are your actual exclusives. Work on getting more adventures please. I still need that Black Dahlia fix.

tfishell: Do you only buy games on GOG that aren't available on Steam, or moreso old games that are here even if said old games are also on Steam?
I tend to go to GoG to get older games whether they are on Steam or not actually, as I associate GoG with older PC games by default. That and the obvious thing, which is GoG tends to just have better sales on old games anyway, that's something they're still good about. Not so much the adding of old games anymore, they've been slacking a bit on that until just recently. Hopefully they keep up a higher pace.
For a good old video games week, this week is a very good week for good old video games.

STAR FLEET II being announced with a version 2.0 coming, a video game released in 1989 this is absolutely something that is making me very happy to see from gog.com.

I hope very much that next week a classic old video game gets released for sale on gog.com.

Seeing that Bethesda Softworks released Doom 64 for sale on gog.com a few weeks ago. I hope very much No One Lives Forever get released for sale on gog.com.

I hope very much that MicroSoft sells the original Age of Empires video game on gog.com and Halo: Combat Evolved.

The current promo is just for the weekend -- its comment thread is here.
This thread that you necroed was for a promo from two months ago.
