kbnrylaec: They accept bad games like Californium
This game should not be sold period. It was (to the best of my knowledge - feel free to correct me) funded by the Franco-German public TV network arte. This station in turn is funded through compulsory fees collected from every household in Germany and France (if you refuse to pay, you go to jail - because that's how things are apparently done in a free and open society). In turn, Californium is free for download (or at least used to be) via arte's website for French and German IPs - after all, they paid for it. Gog apparently wan't even aware of this at the time they accepted Californium and have offered refunds to all their German and French customers.
IMHO, games that were funded through compulsory fees should not be sold at all. Why should the devs be able to make a profit for their shitty little "art" game that the French/German public (mostly the German public, who have to pay a yearly fee of €210 instead of the French €138 and who have to pay regardless of whether they own a TV or not) had to foot the all the bills for?
