I just noticed, that my libary miss the option to download via Gog-Downloader.

Can you still use it and it's just buggy for me or is the feature disabled by Gog?
If they start going this route whe're closing in to Steam 2.0 instaed of Gog.

They don't support it anymore.
Quit being so paranoid about GOG being Steam 2.0.

WE JUST HAD A THREAD, EVEN.

But I don't even see what was so wonderful about the downloader.

They just moved them.

The 'More' menu where they are has been moved to after the language and OS drop downs.

A small, easy to use program, which allows customers to cue and pause/resume their game downloads, and significantly reduces the risk of broken downloads, making it incredibly useful for people on slow or unreliable connections. And all that without any of the ( unwanted ) extra feature bloat of clients such as Galaxy.

You're welcome!

Also, a godsend for those games with dozens of goodies.

They even restated that the PC version of Cyberpunk will be DRM free on PC so Steam 2.0 isn't happening........ or is this a case of when GOG says things will be DRM free the community sees it as adding DRM?

Free of DRM (DRM-free) and free DRM are easy to mistake for one another, apparently.

Also, people have been burned too many times by "No, no, no, this is of course not DRM (we just require an connection to our servers for... leaderboards, jump-in-jump-out multiplayer, saving your profile in our cloud, and other things that really shouldn't be necessary, but we haven't given you a switch to turn off, and our game will loudly complain and quit if it can't connect and validate your account)."

Galaxy is DRM dontchaknow?

It totally locks games to your account. Like seriously. If you haven't bought a game you have installed and Galaxy detects it, it totally tells you you should buy it pretty please as it lets you play it.
Does anyone have a link to download the Downloader?

It just occurred to me it might be gone from my PC when I get it back this week.

Here: https://www.gog.com/downloader

At some resolutions the download buttons might be obstructed by a picture, but they are still there.

OK, easier:
Windows: http://static.gog.com/download/d3/stable/Setup_Downloader_3.6.0_stable.exe
Mac: http://static.gog.com/download/d3/mac-stable/GOG_Downloader_1.2_512.zip

Never had that happen to me and I have games from other sources on my system that are also available on GOG.
