I just leaned that the GOG version of Morrowind contains all of the optional add-ons, separate from the DLCs, so, just because I'm a loyal fan of GOG and CDProjektRed, I want to purchase it here, even though I already have a Steam version, and the original GOTY disc somewhere. My only concern is that I HAVE to have that Overhaul mod collection able to function properly. Has anyone had any trouble with this?

Thanks for any help. ( Kind of surprised that there's no separate Morrowind or Elder Scrolls communities here.)

Please disregard. I found the answer via Google, though I sure didn't see any Elder Scrolls community in the list. Seems it is compatible.

To note (Even though you have an answer) it's highly unlikely that they modified their old master/plugin files. This means the Expansions and the extras are all going to be separate files.

There might be some differences, but for compatibility this seems unlikely for 99% of it.

Glad you found the answer to your question. Now perhaps you can answer mine:
Where's your avatar from?

zeogold: Where's your avatar from?
I could have been a smartarse and said the internet, but I won't do that as it goes against everything I am.

It's Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

To be sure, to be sure.

As much as I doubt that first part, thanks for the source.

Just don't ever say that I don't do a thing for you, I think you should contact the mods and ask them to make this thread a sticky so we don't forget, not that I will.

Here's a slightly different version.

Hear, here! Perhaps with a golden border to distinquish this thread from the riff-raff.
I've already have three version of this game, the free one that came with Asus video card, GOTY edition, and the Elder Scrolls Anthology version which I got for $15. I don't think I will pay for the GOG version until it's on sale for $5-7.

I would like to get my hand on the Collector Edition, because it has the sound track cd and the map. I really like that map. There are goof balls selling it for several hundreds on ebay, so I guess I'll never have it.

Ebay ruined gaming for everybody.

PS. "GOG and CDProjektRed" Not sure if that was a typo, but it's made by Bethesda but I think you know that.

guys i have question ok? i heard morrowind clean has bugs but there is MCP latest version 2.2 (Morrowind Code Patch). that fixes many things like pickpocketing, corrupt game save, etc and adds more but what does overhaul do? why would i need it? and is it compatible with MCP? it took me so long to read changes from MCP :'( i don't want to read another text wall by myself
