Why does it take over 48 hours to reply to ticket for refund? I get one reply every 24-48 hours. This is bad especially for a company like gog
1.3 billion customers for only 3 customer service workers... They can only do so much.

The magic words : different time zones .
I usually get answers in just a few hours.

Just a thought; perhaps you're ungrateful or disrespectful and uses foul/nasty language in your request...
No, most of the time they are very good and also very helpful. I often got answers within hours (especially when it came to payment problems).
I once wrote to ticket for a game-breaking bug in Thronebreaker to the CDPR support. And I heard back from them nearly 3 month later. I was lucky that I found a workaround for my problem.
So 48 hours for the GOG support sounds very good by comparison :D

A confirmation is always nice, but anything unhelpful or not communicative after that I consider superfluous ("we're looking into it" blablabla sounds like a template/bot).

You want the opposite of the OP: OP wants money from GOG, you want to give money to GOG. Of course they respond fast to you but not OP...

Because you're in the US and they're in Poland.
them dont have bots here like on steam. as far as i know anyway.

and so, the real people have needs. like sleep, eat, poop, ..i think that's it.

witch is why it may seems like they answer faster on steam, cause bots do the first reply most of the time.
I've had exactly two issues on gog. In both cases I received a solution within 10 minutes of asking for help, on the first answer. Anyone who thinks gog support sucks hasn't dealt with Steam support, or indeed, most other customer support departments period. I truly wish most people could meet gog's standards for customer service. It'd be a better world for everyone if they could.

No, it wasn't a problem with not being able to pay. Instead it me thinking I got charged and not getting something in return. Which wasn't the case.

I also got very fast responses to technical problems and to refund requests.

They probably prioritize you because you got 1610 games here. They would have to be stupid to let 'whales' wait for support.

My own experience with GOG support is similar to support elsewhere: It depends on what you want and how they classify you. For some things you get fast responses and for other things support is worse than useless.

And in case of refund: If I were GOG and 1610 games person would sometimes ask for a refund I would be unlikely to ask many questions or sth - losing 1610 games customer over a refund isnt worth it. But if 6 games person wants a refund - it may be another matter. Or rephrasing: The refund-for-1610-games-customer doesnt have the same problem complexity as the refund-for-6-games-customer.

Edit: I expected this to be joined with my previous post but somehow forum made a separate one?

if Im not mistaken, gog is company that tries to exclusively hire people who live in Poland. So yeah - time zones, holidays and so on
