According to the neverwintervault site here

https://neverwintervault.org/

GOG offers a giveaway on gleam.io here

https://gleam.io/fYsKn/win-an-rpg-favorite-with-neverwintervaultorg-and-gogcom

where you can win a copy of one of the following titles: Neverwinter Nights Diamond, Neverwinter Nights 2, Dungeons & Dragons: Dragonshard, Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition, Icewind Dale Enhanced Edition.

Is this legit? And why didn't I see any announcements here?
Anyway, do we generally approve of gleam.io? People on reddit don't say the best about this site and their giveaways and I'm not sure about the fact that they ask for my full name.

Well, there was recently (during E3) a GOG-funded competition thingy on the website of a polish gaming magazine, and there were no mentions of it anywhere on GOG either. I assumed they just do this kind of thing from time to time in cooperation with various other gaming related sites.

Because they can't be bothered:

Lately they've grown quite fond of gleam.io giveaways. It seems to be the latest social media based user data harvesting fad.

Because the gOg community is much larger than just the forums, and I think that in terms of out-reach and PR, it has much greater impact than here

GOG is co-operating with DotEmu? I thought they were gone, but apparantly that's just the shop and they only act as publishers now? Doesn't look like they are co-operating with GOG that much though, on their homepage they only link to Steam and mobile stores, even for games that are available on GOG, too ...

EDIT: Hm, apparantly these games have different publishers on GOG than they have on Steam? Weird.
