Catventurer: I said that if I had to pick between Lift and yourself on Day 1 that I was more confident about Lift being Town at that time than yourself.
Telika: Okay, yeah. I had misread it as you assuming that we were of different affiliations, but it was just a hypothetical premise. Too bad, i was hoping that you had found some sort of clue on that.
I sometimes speak in hypothetical, such as given that these two people are of different alignments then I'm inclined to believe that this person is town and that person isn't. Although I did say one game that something felt like town-on-town aggression.
I could speak more on this, but I'm really too tired at the moment to elaborate further.
Telika: To push the blaspheme further with an extreme example : It's like, players will not try to mislead us with fake real life info (that would be cheating), but could theoretically still make accidental slips when giving real life info ("I have my mum's funeral, so I might not be here for the nightkill" "for the what!?" "oops"). Fair or unfair, other players would notice.
I have more than enough going on here that I really don't need to make stuff up. If something really significant was to happen in real life for me, I'd pull out of the game.... such as that kitchen fire that happened during Day 1 of a prior game.
Also Ginger (cat with kidney failure) gets fluid injections twice a week, which takes two people to accomplish. All of these cats are on different special diets so meal times for them requires more than one person just to ensure that nobody is eating anyone else's food. I'm also in California, which means that I'm in a time zone behind everyone.
The Internet claims that it's about 5:30am on Saturday where you're at but for me, it's still 9:30pm on Friday. This means that I say that I'll be away for a while to deal with the cats, I should be back within a few hours on what would be the same day from my point of view.
Catventurer: I do apologize for the delay and making you wait. As we get to know each other more, you're going to find with me that it's not unusual for me to give the appearance of ignoring something then replying to it later.
Telika: Yeah, but when we don't react chronologically, it gives the impression of "skipping" a question. Which can actually be the case, accidentally or not.
The alternative is that I'll just hold the post until I can respond to everything I am going to respond to so that you can therefore know with certainty that if I don't respond to something, it was likely an accident.
Anyway, it is late here thus I am going to bed now.
