SCPM: Looks like we're getting Civ games at least tomorrow (November 30th for those of you already there)
https://api.gog.com/products?ids=1367477034 - CivCity: Rome
https://api.gog.com/products?ids=1471405734 - Sid Meier's Civilization III Complete

There's sure to be others as well.
Great news! Thanks for sharing!

I wish for Civilization IV too and I hope they will be released at an affordable price.
Many long "one more turn" nights await! :-)

EDIT: Actually I don't really have much time for games. Even now I'm writing code and it's past 3:00 in the morning, but they're great games anyway.

haydenaurion: OH YES! What about the first two Civ games?
I've only found these 2 so far, but you never know, anything is possible! :)
Well, if Civ III is released here, why not CiV I, II and IV?
Especially Civ I and Civ II would be interesting to have. Civ I is a legend, which founded the 4 X genre.

Maybe 2K don't want to spend the time and money making sure they have the rights to those two? (similar to how we haven't gotten any more Activision games that weren't already on digital distribution)

Still, great to see we're getting Civ 3!

Damn, keep up the good work of leaks though. You need to change your forum title to Leaker or something, wear that like a badge. :P

Yeah, i'm thinking that or maybe they'll be made free if you purchase the other Civ games, much like Bethesda did with Arena and Daggerfall though i'm just speculating.

Or for whatever reason they just scheduled the release of III before I, II or IV. Didn't this happen with some other classic game series on GOG?

Possibly Civ I, but only the DOS version. I have WinCiv from the Civilizations Chronicles pack, but I'd gladly pick up a DOS version of Civ.

Civ II....
is unlikely. It really doesn't work on anything past Windows XP (at least the version from Civ Chronicles) in large part due to its reliance on the Indeo video codec. It was hard enough finding a download for Windows NT (including XP) Indeo, and it just plain doesn't work on modern Windows. I think Test of Time works though....

I still don't see them releasing ToT without Civ II Multiplayer Gold. Here's hoping they can work out some sort of workaround for Civ II.
It will be awesome to see Civ on here!

jadegiant: Perhaps we're finally getting the discontinued NWN premium modules, like Wyvern Crown of Cormyr?
avatar
tfishell: That'd be cool.
Definitely! While it may not warrant such attention, it goes with the wallpaper the image came from, and having the installers would make things a lot easier. But if it's going to be something major, getting the Diablo games or more of Bethesda's catalog would definitely be it, as would the Civ games, I suppose :)

Yeah, I was thinking the same for Civ II. Might pose a problem.
Long time Diablo(1,2,3) fan here... there is no beast or demon to fit that skull plate and match the claw..

This could be Mass Effect possibly... or maybe Strafe, please god for the love of everything let me be STRAFE... Could be a Bioware/EA somthing... they went hard with the last few releases...

long shot: Borderlands cause it matches a Scar pretty damn well, and well Dec 1st tweet has me thinking!

Edit: if it is borderlands im going to lose my damn mind!

I did get Civ II to run under Win 7. It was a bit of a hassle and the vids were stuttering, but at least it worked.

Oooh. Does anything in there really fit Mass Effect?

It was the first thing which popped to mind, but not because I know anything about the series, just because I'd really like to see it here. I've been wanting to play through the series but what put me off was how everyone says the DLC is needed for the second game, and the DLC seems to be locked behind Bioware's store or something. I've seen it in sales a few times but the comments always say it doesn't contain x DLC.

Would love to see it get the same treatment the Dragon Age: Origins release got here recently.
I'll just leave this here. The conclusion, I think, is obvious...
