I'm getting the same issue. The program is loading up but once it tries to bring up the screen (Which I can see the logos and everything before it goes white) it goes white. Like the software is trying to start up but then keeps going in and out. Flickering.

I can't understand what you're talking about, GOG Galaxy is not necessary to run or download your GOG games.
I'm using Windows 7 and I have the same blank/white window with the latest Gog Galaxy version. No solution found to solve that problem.
I happily play my games without Galaxy and it works.

Problems with Galaxy you should either take up in the Galaxy sticky thread or contact customer support directly.

If you want a working client you need to go to Steam.
Today, I tried again to install GoG Galaxy, and this time there was no problem of "blank window" as before. The difference? This time I did the installation without customizing the installation folder! The first time I stupidly thought that, in 2019, it could be changed without problem: false! I have done other installation tests, and for me, it works fine only if I install GoG Galaxy in the default installation folder (C:\Program Files\Gog Galaxy\).

It annoys me a little because I would prefer to put this kind of software elsewhere, but at least it's working now.

I had the same problem. I tried running GoG Galaxy in Windows XP compatibility mode and it started working.
I hope it'll work for others having this issue.
I've never had an issue with Galaxy but I also have Windows 10. What OS do you use?
Just managed to repair the issue.
1. uninstall gog galaxy
2. download a game you want to install
3. the installer will install the gog galaxy, but it will work this time.
