vv221: If there were a Linux build of Galaxy, GOG would start tying features of Linux games to Galaxy use like they do for Windows games.

I would much rather stay with the current situation, at least I know I can trust Linux games sold here to be (mostly) DRM-free.
As a bare minimum, they could at least test the Windows version in Wine, and make adjustments to make it run more smoothly.

Galaxy isn't even stable on Windows and the plugins are kinda abandoned. Linux support is asking to much TBH, even though I agree that they should support it.
It really should have a Linux client, especially with Achievement support.

From a purely preservation point of view, Galaxy is not necessary though.

Particularly given we're paying for these features. Much of the Dawn of War II Grand Master Collection content is for the multiplayer, which isn't even accessible without Galaxy.
