I just tried to download the GOG galaxy installer from my "Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Daughter" game and the page it lead me to was blocked by my antivirus, which is Bitdefender. I googled around to check if it was a known problem and nothing came up.

Is this a false positive? Or is the link actually corrupt? Someone put my trust back into GOG please xD

No, Galaxy isn't a trojan. Yes, that's a false positive.

You see the file name there? Gen stands for Generic threat, and Heur2 shows that it was a hit not from a fingerprint database (which tends to be fairly accurate) but rather a heuristic scan, which tends to be wildly overprotective.
