Hi Guys,

I've got a really fustrating problem in that my client wont open, it instantly closes and I get a 'report error' window pop up.

I've surfed about and tried a few fixes, such as reinstalling, using the CMD thing to delete extra stuff before reinstalling but I just cant get it to work!

Any help will be greatly appreciated

A little more detail on your system, like what OS you are running, might be helpful.
Uninstall Galaxy, go to %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\GOG.com\Galaxy\* and backup/delete temp, redists and webcache folders, then try installing Galaxy again.

*usually C:\ProgramData\GOG.com\Galaxy

You're very welcome, glad to be of help : )
My GOG galaxy won't load up after getting my new Bards Tale remix loaded.. I have a PC windows 10 system.
Have you tried following the instructions described earlier in this thread?
Any error messages pop up?
etc etc. The more information you give, the better the advice you'll potentially receive.

If the solutions to possible Galaxy issues (available here - https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/sections/202834485-Galaxy-specific-issues) won't work, I would suggest writing to Support directly: https://support.gog.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?form=galaxy

I changed the compatibility settings and it fixed it for me. Right click the galaxy shortcut, properties, compatability, RUN compatibility troubleshooter, use recommended settings, test program.

Hope this helps

I'm sure he's very grateful.
I had this problem and tried everything to get rid of it.
Finally, by accident, I entered the "performance enhancer" tab on CCleaner and noticed that GoG had ben set to "sleeping". Most other programs work despite that but it seems that GoG for some reason does not. I woke it up and had to manually add the games to the install list again, but since then it has worked as normal.
If nothing else has worked, check if GoG is in sleep mode.
