Hey guys.

I have problem with my gog galaxy client, every time I try to launch it I get error (see title).

I have fresh windows 7 install, I updated my windows, installed (and reinstalled) msvc 2010, 2012, 2015 both 86 and 64, .NET framework etc. Still can't get rid of the issue

Help!

I know that there's probably people here who could help you, and I say this so often that I sound like a broken record, but...

Yes, I have, but that happened today so I'm not expecting anything before monday so I gave a shot posting here.

I did what you advised and indeed I'm not getting api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll error anymore, but I get

0xc000007b error

instead. Not sure what to do about it though, googling shows things I have already done

You should post in the "STICKY: GOG GALAXY BETA" thread, the Blues seem to look at it semi-regularly.

For a number of programs, forcing all the DLL's in the same directory does work (Done it with PCSX2 emulator and some other recent games/programs), but for Galaxy I'm not sure. like mm324 try and get support to help.

I'd kinda prefer if devs went back to using an earlier compiler or seeing if a number of the DLL's that aren't needed can be just chopped out. I've compiled C programs that only rely on 1 dll you're almost guaranteed to have, the msvcrt.dll, so you wouldn't have to deal with any other weird code or issues, and those programs were like 20k big (yet powerful utilities).
