BenKii: Support got back with me about the Sins issue. They said I couldn't get the game because I only had the base game.

Support said and I quote:
"You had to own the base game, Forbidden Worlds DLC, Stellar Phenomena DLC and the Soundtrack DLC to be eligible for the game."

So if anyone else is sending support tickets to GOG about not redeeming Sins on GOG and you don't have all the required DLCs, know they'll probably tell you the same thing.
So the soundtrack is required, that's a bummer. :( I have Forbidden Worlds and Stellar Phenomena and I was expecting those to be required, but it sucks that I also had to buy the 10$ soundtrack to get the GOG Connect to work.

I purchased the soundtrack at the beginning of the sale as I figured it would be required. Still waiting to hear back.

C'mon stay realistic folks!

You get the ultimate edition so you need to own all the content of the ultimate edition - no point of discussion IMHO

The game details also clearly state the contents in bold:
"Includes Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion plus the Forbidden Worlds, Stellar Phenomena, and Soundtrack DLCs"

also all the required appIds were posted quite often before the sale ended ;)

Steam connect is a good will offer from GOG (and the participating publishers) ♥ ♥
You already get your 50+ USD game a second time for free without any DRM huzzle, be thankful about the service offer - because why should they keep it up if people only whine and complain and causes additional work for them

Just my two cents, Greetz,

thanks to US !
Resolved for me too.
Thank you, GOG, for the good work.
Yup, situation resolved. Thanks, GOG!

I'm not ungrateful, I'm simply disappointed. I don't see why the soundtrack is required seeing as it doesn't add anything to the game, it's just the music that's already in the game in MP3 and FLAC format so you can listen to it whenever you want, which isn't something I want to do. Plus, you can find the music in OGG format in the game’s files anyway, so anyone with basic audio conversion skills can get them without needing to buy the soundtrack.
They've resolved the issue for me too! Thanks GOG!
GOG came through. Thank you, GOG Support!
After 13 days, GOG Support came through.
They really need to hire more people to work in Support.
Hi GOG support,

Any updates at all? Submitted a support ticket when you first set up the address, but heard nothing yet.

Thanks!

EDIT: Nevermind. GOG support just got in contact with me and sorted it! Thanks! You guys rock :)

Was provided a code for the game 6 days after request was submitted. Better late than never! Thanks, GOG!

P.S. Of course things like with SoaSE:R aren't supposed to happen, system gotta work. But that's ok, valuable experience for the team!

just got my, awsome, thanks GOG
Hello and sorry to have bothered you.
But currently started new bunch of games in GOG Connect and I again have unrecognized game: Tropico 3 Gold Edition.
Thanks.
I own Tropico 3: Gold Edition on Steam (including some extra DLC) but it does not seem to recognize it.

Same problem seem to happen with more people.
