Just wondering if there will be any more connect events? We have had only 1 this year which was cancelled due to a bug and never came back.
I'm now wondering if this option is still going to be used or not?

I mean i loved the idea of if you have bought the game on steam then (from what gog staff said) we dont think you should purchase it again so its on a differant platform. Which i thought was a great move.

When it was cd and keycode or just plain cd/dvd (before the net took over) you could move and play freely, now since the net took over you buy a game your left having to use whatever platform it is on so if said platform cease's or goes down one is unable to play anything there. Last 2 weeks steam has had issue's (due to what peeps say ddos attacks) though thats just speculation.
I really would hate to see connect become obsolete as it was a good and fair move. As long as you have your accounts linked.
It's not dead.

With Connect, you are effectively given a free second copy of the game, just because you showed your receipt from store A to the clerk at store B. A copy that store B paid the publisher for, no less. Store B does that in the hopes that you will purchase more stuff from them so that they eventually can actually earn money from you, not just because they like you.
