West coast, huh? Now you get a taste of what it was like to play against the European timezones.

Leading up to my game against Rod in a few hours, I did some maintenance on the Halfling squad.

I cut two players who I never got to rename into a proper name.

In their place I've welcomed Ivar the Pantless and Oda Cowabunga. Clearly invoking two of the greatest warriors in history will carry me to victory!

heh ivar happens to be the non-finnish version of my RL name ;)

I just finished playing Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons.

The game was so outrageously good, that i would add a copy (steam) of it to prize pool for season 5.

The match between Arnob's Dark Elves "Wheel of Terror" (no Apo!) against Ghiro's Khemri "Sandy Shades" is on right now!

Rod & I are getting ready to play our game.

Well, the first half went pretty well.
I kicked.
Lenin (One of Hawk's treemen) didn't show up for the first drive.
My wizard bust open a lovely group of flings, enabling me to get the ball.
A Chorf grabbed the bounce in 2 TZ's!!
Turn 8 I could have made it 2, but would have required an insane amount of luck to do it (4+ dodge, 3 GFI, 4+ pick up, all with no rr's). Unsurprisingly, it failed.

Turn 9 started with a chorf badly hurt by a thrown rock.
But I still managed 2 more in the second half.
NO serious injuries (on either side).
So I suppose the 2nd half went pretty well too :)

Final score 3-0 to me.

EDIT:
To top it off, I have enough money to get the 6th chorf & Jacob (Hobgob) got dodge.

It was a fun match, although i had no real way to deal with Ghiro's cage. It ended in a 2-1 after a lucky pickup in the end by one of blitz-ra's for Ghiro. Fortunately only 1 badly hurt happened on my team so i still have a full inexperienced team ready for day 2 :). The Sandy Shades were a bit unfortunately with a permanent injury to their ball carrier :(.

Still need to learn to play a bit better with my elves, for a first game i think i did decently except for some really rookie mistakes like not letting my player stand up and doing risky moves at the start of my turn (guess the agi 4 gives me the impression nothing can fail while experience tells me otherwise :) ).

Speaking of prizes, Does anyone actually want my Die by the Sword gog code? it's been sitting there since season 1 (i hope only because all of you already have it, because else you have terrible taste) and i'm not even sure if the code is still valid; if anyone would like it just pm me, and i'll see if I can find something better for this season.
