I'm much the same. Also, character creation and choosing a name are real time sinks for me as well.

You first class was a magic user if your awesome avatar is anything to go by.
My favorite RPG classes are paladins and thieves, with bards tagging along for the ride.

DnD has some strange things, the color-coded dragons are one, but the oddest I think are the Gelatinous Cubes. Neverwinter online even had that as mount on giveaway around Christmas. I wonder what that looks like ingame. XD
