I am interested in a game on GOG that is not available in my country (Germany).
Is it possible for a friend in another country to buy me said game as a gift or will it reject the code?

AFAIK, no problem should arise. gifts aren't region-locked here.

The only problem may be in terms of price for the friend, in case they're from a region that would normally get a lower price than the base (US) one, then buying as a gift will set the price to the base one.

Doh, so much about reading ... I got it wrong.

Anyway ... you CAN claim a gift code from someone outside germany, I some to a friend of mine in Munich.

Bet a VPN or something bypassing Geolocation would let you buy said game. Anymore i think a VPN is needed in general.

So which game? I'll see if i have it (though seems unlikely, only got like 20 keys)
