When i try to run GOG Galaxy i get an error stating:

C;\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\MSVCP140.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact you system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0xc000012f.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I have tried reinstalling galaxy but no improvements

Edit: I have found the solution. Go into your settings. click apps. click apps and features. Go down to the most recent Microsoft visual C++ you have. click uninstall. A window asking whether you want to uninstall or repair files should appear. click repair.

This can happen when you uninstall another program that uses the .dll or it get corrupted. Anyhow, you can download it from here - https://www.dll-files.com/msvcp140.dll.html

I tried that but it says that i can not replace the files because the ones i have installed are newer
