what is happening?

opened galaxy and there was an update. pandora. got it ...and after, wanted to grab several game's offline installers to catch up since last time. seems clicking the file names to start the download does nothing. what is this? the client still works/opens in win7, so surely they have not restricted downloading in win7 now? nothing else has changed on my side. last time i downloaded was several weeks ago.

is it a known issue?

interesting note; the first game i started to get was lollypop. from the extras menu it has 3 bonus items and the game. as is typical, the 3 items can be gotten together via a click to "download all", or individually. trying to get them individually (or the game) does nothing. it does work if i use the "download all" link. to make sure it is like that for all games, i tried more, (don't starve) same thing. it has bonus items and the game plus dlc. trying to grab anything by itself does nothing. but, again, if i grab the bonus items "together" via the "download all" link, they start downloading. (oh, and remember, only bonus items have the "download all" links. getting the game file(s) is not possible via galaxy at this time. and again, the offline installers. have not tried just installing games, as that is not what i want.)
seems something is broken in galaxy.

THE SAME FILES CAN BE DOWNLOADED VIA A BROWSER THOUGH, SO THEY ARE THERE AND DOWNLOADABLE. this is a galaxy client issue. not sure if the pandora update did this as i updated first and then tried downloading.

tl;dr galaxy client downloads for game files/items from extras section (offline files) is broken..

holly crap, they changed things in this "pandora" crap update. from always until now, clicking your mouse cursor anywhere along the bar of a file/item, (see pic) would start the download. now, your cursor has to be on the arrow at the end, and be a hand cursor, not arrow to start the download. wow. whatever...

It still works for "Download all" below bonus items. It's known in the GOG Galaxy forum where it's been brought up several times. I reported this in ticket #1502167. On April 18th, I got the usual form response about the feedback being passed on and not being able to say whether this behavior will be changed.

It stills works fine in Galaxy v1.2.

like i said in the final edit, i figured it out - they changed the download "hotspot" from HUGE to tiny. bad move. but i found out what it was, and it was new to me, ergo the post. all is good, in as far as one can still download, but yeah.. another "great" gog update...
