although I am sort of a venerable lurker on the forums here, I've never done a giveaway before. However I recently found out that I accumulated a number of free codes handed out by GOG on different occasions.

Since it is impractical to just let them expire, I would like to share them with those members of the community who may find use for them.

I will be updating this post as I find more codes in my mail and game cards.

I've been convinced to try a different approach, so that codes will be less likely to fall to bots. Bots are no fun to help.
Now I will only be posting game titles and anyone willing to get the code will need to declare that wish in this topic. The winner will be decided at random once I visit this thread again in several hours. Priority will be given to new applicants over people who've already claimed codes.

Edna & Harvey was taken by someone. Anyways, I think giveaways should be diverse in how they... giveaway goods. There should be just plain giveaways, write a story to enter giveaways, play a mini-game to enter, or request to enter, or be fast and grab that, etc. For that matter, I disagree with breja.

I have utmost respect for IAmSinistar, but he runs his giveaway and I run mine. If you have advice, how to make mine better, I will take it, otherwise you are free to attend other events.

Just post game names and who ever want to get it can reply you here.

Uhm... I did give you advice. Don't post codes for scammers to get. You're actively making things worse for everyone when you give scammers a reason to hang around here. Apparently you've been here a while, how do you not know this? Just list the names of the games, and send codes via chat to people who want them, once you know who they are.

I see where you are coming from, but I'll have to disagree with you on this one. People have been dropping codes on the general forum, in the release and promo threads for years. This is not something that you can completely reroute to IAmSinistar and I don't think that this monopoly is a goal worth pursuing. I believe it will be detrimental for the community as a whole.

And I don't see how me waiting for a PM before sending codes is going to help. It's just extra management, while the scammer will only need a dozen seconds longer before he secures his codes. It's not like I'm going to perform background checks on applicants.
