Consider this you buy a great game here, you are curious, the reviews said its a great game, and when i see gog tells me it has controller support, ok you buy the game and norice that either the controls goes beserk at the first menu
or it doesnt work very well and then you go to the game's forum to ask if someone has the same problem and\
after months of no reaction you give up on the game because your not a keyboard warrior,

It's a pity most of the game-specific forums aren't very active, but what would the alternative be? At least this way dedicated gamers who love a certain game may flock together and start some good conversations. Having all the game discussions in a single forum won't encourage participation for less popular games.

If the game is advertised here as having controller support, you could contact the GOG support team.

If you brought the game here, then contact support if it doesn't work. I have rarely experienced any issue with the games brought here (many). You may also find information by googling specific terms, often "things not working" is a system specific problem, but sometimes you will find many responses on other boards not just here.
As to the game specific boards, yes it's a shame they are not more active, but the large amount of people hung anything here are just interested in witcher 3 and post questions to the general area, I also get no response when I post n the sub forums. But then the whole website is pretty broken for many years now.
